About the Controls Electrician Opportunity


We are seeking a Controls Electrician with electrical assembly experience. The ideal individual has experience with wiring, reading electrical drawings, and troubleshooting instrumentation. This position will also requires some travel field support.

The majority of the work is performed at our Canton, MA facility. Field duties are performed in the Northeast Region, primarily focused in/around Boston, MA.


Controls Electrician Job Responsibilities


  • Install switches, circuit breakers, relays, transformers, grounding leads, signal devices and other electrical components.
  • Wire, test, and troubleshoot control panels and individual electrical subcomponents.
  • EMT – layout, bending and installing flexible conduit to process equipment.
  • Ability to read and understand control panel electrical schematics.
  • Assist electrical start-up and commissioning for the water systems during installation and/or servicing of equipment in the field, as needed.
  • Familiarity with PLC control systems, and Human Machine Interfaces.
  • Follow Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures as-needed







Programmer Qualifications and Skills


  • Minimum of two year electrical/electronic technical degree or related 2+ years’ work experience in technical field
  • Familiar with Instrumentation and Control Drawings (cabinet layout/wiring) and P&ID
  • Valid driver’s license with record in good standing and reliable transportation required
  • Must be able to communicate and interact well with customers as well as co-workers and manager(s)
  • Strong attention to detail and finished product quality
  • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple concurrent projects
  • Ability to review and complete documentation with accuracy
  • Physical requirements include ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time
  • Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required and will be determined by the employee’s direct supervisor
  • Due to the nature of the company’s business, occasional overnight travel will be required for installation and servicing of systems




Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with opportunities for overtime
