We are a non-profit organization looking for a Fundraising Coordinator to generate fundraising income to meet or exceed budget goals through identification, research, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of donor prospects, individual donors, and corporate volunteer groups. The primary objective of the Fundraising Coordinator is to develop long-term relationships built on a firm understanding of donors’ interests, passions, and values.


Major Duties & Responsibilities:


Leadership

·Contribute to the overall goals and strategies for the Resource Development Department, from an individual donor perspective.

·Plan and implement funding campaign events and activities (volunteer experiences, tours, receptions, etc.) for individual donors.

·Coordinate, host, and execute corporate volunteer groups with the mindset that every volunteer is a potential donor.


Strategic Planning

·Research and identify individual prospects. When necessary, prepare background reports on donor giving and interests, and develop proposals for donor consideration.

·Evaluate giving trends of individual donors and determine those with potential for upgrading to major gift status.

·Evaluate overall results of campaigns and recommend modifications or new approaches to support successful achievement of development goals.


Resource Development

·Cultivate potential donors, develop proposals, and conduct direct, face-to-face solicitations of individual donors.

·Create strategic funding requests based on short, intermediate, and long-term funding goals of the organization.

·Collaborate with Club executives and key volunteers to engage them in donor solicitations, based on donor interests, personal relationships, program expertise or other criteria.

·Develop fundraising strategies that work for each donor.


Resource Management

·Control fundraising expenses related to donor solicitations within given budget.

·Manage record keeping for donors, ensuring effective administrative and operational support functions are in place.

·Track and report progress using specific metrics.


Partnership Development & Public Relations

·Develop strategic alliances with community leaders, donors, and prospects. Develop collaborative partnerships with members, parents, families, funders, and community organizations.

·Increase visibility of Club programs, services and activities and maintain good public relations.


Qualifications:

·Experience in nonprofit development and knowledge of accessing, utilizing, and maintaining donor database.

·Polished professional presence with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

·Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, multi-task, adapt to shifting priorities, and work on a team.
