We are in search of a Talent Acquisition Specialist for a Nonprofit Organization. This is a Full or Part-Time, Fully Remote, Temporary assignment.


ORGANIZATION: Nonprofit

LOCATION: Washington D.C.

POSITION TITLE: Talent Acquisition Specialist

SCHEDULE: Full or Part Time (30-40 hrs./wk. depending on workload); Fully Remote

DURATION: Temporary (~ 3 months)

HOURLY RATE: $25-28/hr. DOE


Is This Your Dream Position? As the Talent Acquisition Specialist, you'll be responsible for recruiting, onboarding & offboarding employees, and assisting with various administrative tasks as assigned by the Senior People and Culture Generalist.



Our Ideal Candidate:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • A minimum of two years of experience in Talent Acquisition required
  • Experience with Applicant tracking systems (ATS) and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities required
  • Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail required
  • Ability to maintain complete confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations required
  • Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
  • Must have your own equipment (i.e. laptop or desktop computer)



How You Will Spend Your Day: 


  • Manage the entire recruitment process, including creating job postings, sourcing resumes, conducting interviews, and maintaining an applicant tracking system
  • Collect and evaluate data using valuable metrics, including employee demographics and EEO data
  • Lead the onboarding and offboarding process, including new hire orientation sessions
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure documentation is up-to-date
  • Address inquiries related to P&C matters
  • Support team member engagement and implementation of policies and procedures
  • Assist with performance management processes, including evaluations and feedback sessions
  • Coordinate training and development programs
  • Stay updated on labor laws and regulations to ensure P&C compliance
  • Participate in P&C-related projects and initiatives as assigned
