Location: Chicago or Washington, D.C. (Hybrid - 3 days in-office & 2 days remote)

Position Title: Recruiting Coordinator

Location: Chicago or Washington, D.C. (3 days in-office & 2 days remote)

Schedule: Mon.-Fri. (8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.)

Reports to: Senior Vice President

As a Recruiting Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the candidate screening process and contribute to the administrative

functions of our recruitment efforts. No prior recruiting experience is necessary - we welcome individuals with diverse backgrounds and

a passion for making a positive impact.


Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Recent graduate or equivalent experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic computer skills with a willingness to learn (Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom)
  • A positive attitude and a quick learner
  • Proven interpersonal skills in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to performing administrative tasks


How You Will Spend Your Day:

  • Making initial contact with applicants via phone and email
  • Conducting thorough candidate screening through interviews, database searches, and social media outreach
  • Collaborating with the Direct Hire Recruiter team to develop engaging recruiting strategies
  • Managing and posting job board and social media postings
  • Assisting in organizing candidate-focused events, including Open Houses and Career Mapping workshops
  • Contributing to the onboarding process by processing paperwork, including applications, I9s, and timesheets
  • Entering and properly coding candidate information into the database
