We are currently in search of a Foundation & Donor Services Officer for an International Humanitarian Organization based in Manhattan, NYC (Sutton Place). This is a Full-Time, In-Person, Temporary-to-Hire opportunity.

 

ORGANIZATION: International Humanitarian Organization

LOCATION: Manhattan, NYC (Sutton Place)

POSITION TITLE: Foundation & Donor Services Officer

SCHEDULE: 37.5 hours/weeks (in-office)

DURATION: Temporary to Hire

HOURLY RATE: $28.00- $30.00

 

Is This Your Dream Job? The Foundations & Donor Services Office manages all aspects of identifying suitable funding/grant opportunities, implementing letters of inquiry, applications, reports, etc. This is a temp to hire opportunity for the right candidate, with an anticipated salary of $75,000.


Our Ideal Candidate:

·       3+ years experience in nonprofit fundraising and grant prospecting

·       Proficient in Excel

·       Excellent communication & writing skills

·       Strong attention to detail

·       Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

 

How You Will Spend Your Day:

·       Responsible for the management of all required letters of Inquiry, applications, and reports as required by the respective foundations. 

·       Manage relationships with current foundations, corporations, and donors in the range of $3,000.

·       Ensure accurate and detailed records as well as provide regular updates and progress reports on foundations and donor gifts initiatives and activities.

·       Responsible for all acknowledgment letters to major donors $5,000 and above and necessary information for the President to sign with a personal note. 

·       Collaborate with Director on strategies that build pipelines for new prospects outside of the organization’s existing donor pool.

·       Assist the development team when necessary, in the planning and implementation of friend raising and fundraising activities and events.

·       Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned.
