IPS is retained on a Backend Engineer role @ an award-winning insurtech startup that has raised $19MM since its inception. They are reinventing commercial property insurance and provides simple, fair, and affordable insurance through its end-to-end digital platform.

It leverages user-generated proprietary data, advanced Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision to automate a currently manual, inaccurate and costly underwriting process. 

They have achieved explosive growth since launch, with end customers and agency partners quickly adopting their differentiated offerings and digital experience, producing revenues growing at well over 100% YoY.

What You’ll Do:

• Founding member of US team.
• Own the backend that feeds our products and internal platforms.
• Integrate and maintain countless vendor APIs.
• Work on features across the company that affect customers and the company.
• Ability to have high visibility in your work and see the fruits of your labor.

Basic Requirements:

• 3+ years (mid-level) working with Nodejs 
• 2+ years working on NoSQL like MongoDB.
• B.Sc in Computer Science/ Software engineering or equivalent filed.
• Highly motivated, enjoy working on complex integration and sophisticated products. 
• Working with Kubernetes and Docker deployment - nice to have.
• Experience with Firebase Services like (serverless) Functions, Storage and Authentication - nice to have.  
• Experience with Angular  - nice to have.
